Created by artisans of Nepal in a mud and sand dye, the melted brass is formed into a bowl shape. Seven recovered scrap metals make up this brass, so that nothing new is taken from the environment during production. Each is finished to a brilliant gloss by a laborious hand polishing process called sand casting.
